I have several new reads on deck for your summertime enjoyment. Check back all week for the following :

Pressed - things get ugly when over-indulgent neighbors out-spend one another. Don’t try this on your cul-de-sac.

Peace & quiet - a boring man with little ambition thought he had found the perfect boring job as a hearse driver where he could enjoy total peace & quiet. Little did he know…

The jingle man - based upon a man that I knew as a customer when I worked a grocery store in high school. He was always full of slogan / jingle ideas.

Setting sail - why I have discovered that I like so-called yacht rock so much. I’ll discuss the vibe and the feeling one might feel when you tune in. All ears and all music tastes welcome.

For all the world to know - a hilarious telling of a suburban Mom up in northern Virginia who got wronged by her car dealer. Her car dealer, and all of northern Virginia, is still hearing about it several years later.

Eunice gets squeezed - I’ll put my usual funny spin on a story about a sister of mine who accidentally shoved Eunice Kennedy Shriver behind an office door years ago. Yes, that Eunice Kennedy Shriver, a little sister to the late President John F. Kennedy, and mother of former tv journalist Maria Shriver (who herself used to be married to action actor and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger).

Always a smile - remembering the late wife of a former client. Hear about the tender days and tender heart of the late Marilyn.

You can always count on laughter, a smile, and more with my stories. They are as varied and interesting as they are numerous. I keep it light, while I keep you coming back for more and more. I’m not your writer, I’m not your author, I’m your entertainer. In the summertime, keep it light and easy with my numerous enjoyable reads. I promise I’ll continue to always work overtime to entertain you. My stories are the ones you’ll tell your friends and colleagues about. They’re the ones that make you stop and think, or stop and cry. Always several new reads weekly.

For only $50.00 / year, I’m asking you to consider becoming a paid subscriber. There is perhaps no other entertainer here on Substack that drops stories as frequently as I do…and for so little in cost. For the price of about two gas station coffees per month, you will be handed the keys to my large and expanding warehouse of stories. My ambitions are clear. I am working hard to be one of our favorite entertainers both on and off Substack. Tell a friend, tell a roommate, tell a colleague, tell your neighbor, tell your family members, tell your parents, tell your children.

Come along.
