Oh my goodness, did this bring up memories for me. I really appreciated that you focus less on "moving on" and more on creating stability during a period when emotions can make everything feel uncertain. I remember the first day after my ex left, I woke up at 7 am, sat on the couch and just stared at my bookshelf. Before I knew it, my friend had called and it was 8:30 pm, I didn't even notice the day had gone by. She was like, "Girl we need to get you back to some emotional stability." It was such a hard time. I think anyone going through a divorce would benefit from reading this. I love that you talk about slowing down rather than solving every problem at once. A wonderful read, thank you so much for sharing it with me.
This is such an important and comprehensive checklist. It can be so hard to keep your head after filing (or being served with) divorce papers. And yet it is so important to do so. Thanks for sharing this piece!
Surprise…I’m dropping a new, unannounced, historical fiction series today, July 4, 2026. On the occasion of America’s 250th Birthday, a stunning and unexpected announcement comes from the White House in Washington, D.C.
Check in later today for the launch of “Redeemed.”
Have faith and be of good cheer, it simply gets better and better and better, for America, and for the world. Tell everyone, no matter their politics, no matter their personal inclinations on the present state of America. Hope as arrived. This particular series will be fully-free, this is my gift to you all on America’s 250th Birthday.
I’m pretty sure you’re gonna like this one, no matter your own official or unofficial personal political leanings, no matter where you live in America or the world.
